Job Description:
As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading complex electrical engineering projects related to oil and gas infrastructure. You will provide expert guidance, ensure the successful execution of projects, and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from conception through execution, ensuring they meet technical, budgetary, and scheduling requirements.
- Design Oversight: Oversee the design of electrical systems for oil and gas projects, including power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation.
- Technical Expertise: Provide expert advice on electrical engineering practices, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for complex systems and projects.
- Compliance: Ensure that all engineering activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems effectively and ensure project success.
- Documentation: Prepare and review detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, system diagrams, and project reports.
- Innovation: Identify and implement improvements and innovative solutions to enhance the performance and efficiency of electrical systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Extensive experience in electrical engineering with a focus on oil and gas projects.
- Proven experience in leading complex engineering projects and teams.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to electrical design and analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary:
