As a Part-Time Cashier and Pizza Maker at Pizza Zone, you will handle a variety of responsibilities, including managing transactions at the register and preparing pizzas. Your role is essential in ensuring that our customers have a positive dining experience and that our pizzas are made to perfection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cashier Duties:
    • Operate the cash register, handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
    • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders.
    • Manage the checkout process and provide correct change.
  • Pizza Making:
    • Prepare and cook pizzas according to recipes and quality standards.
    • Assemble and top pizzas with ingredients.
    • Ensure all pizzas are made to order and meet customer specifications.
  • Customer Service:
    • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns.
    • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Kitchen Maintenance:
    • Keep the kitchen and work area clean and organized.
    • Follow food safety guidelines and sanitation procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a cashier or in a food preparation role is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
