As a Food Service Worker and Cashier at Food Zone, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers have a positive dining experience. You will be responsible for preparing and serving food, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Prepare and serve food items according to Food Zone’s standards and recipes.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly and efficient service to all customers, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Cash Handling: Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, and balance the cash register at the end of each shift.
- Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food service area, including the kitchen, dining area, and restrooms.
- Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels and restocking supplies as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
- Compliance: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service or cashier roles is preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
