Job Description:

As a Dining and Cashier Assistant at Food Zone, you will ensure our dining area runs smoothly and our customers receive excellent service. You will be responsible for assisting in food service, maintaining a clean and organized dining area, and handling cashier duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders, and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
  • Food Service: Assist in serving food and beverages to customers, ensuring orders are accurate and timely.
  • Cashier Duties: Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, manage the cash register, and provide correct change.
  • Dining Area Maintenance: Keep the dining area clean and organized, including clearing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and restocking supplies.
  • Order Accuracy: Verify orders to ensure they are complete and correct before serving or packaging for delivery.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen staff and other team members to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a dining or cashier role is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
